Terminating a Car Lease May Affect Your Credit RatingFor many car leases, there is usually a negative occurrence when trying to get out of the lease itself. However, they ARE dealers and dealing is what they do. So maybe speak with the dealer and find out what your options are before simply dropping a car off and not paying off your lease. That may very likely affect a person’s credit score negatively. Oftentimes, dealers allow people to trade in their car for another one to lease if it is still rather new and such. In all actuality, a lease is a binding contract and in a way it IS a loan. People cannot just step out of a loan and give the house back to the lender and think they will not have to pay any more money to the lender without paying fees or paying a consequence. Try to remember these things when considering such options. |
