Time Frame for Re-Applying for CreditEach inquiry on your credit report, when applying for new credit will be reported and can lower your credit score if too many inquiries exist on your credit file. However, if you are shopping around for a new car or mortgage loan, you are given around 30 days to get multiple inquiries which will most likely only show up as one single inquiry. If a person already has bad credit and they want to wait it out to see if the score will rise due to the fact that they have stopped inquiring and applying for credit constantly, a better route to take would probably be to find out what the problems are on the credit report and try to correct them accordingly. |
