Getting Bankruptcy Removed From Credit Report After 10 yearsIf it has been over 10 years since a bankruptcy has been filed, the credit reporting agencies should have removed the bankruptcy from your credit report in most cases. You can contact the credit reporting agencies personally in order to file a dispute to get the item investigated and hopefully removed very soon. If they are not responding within 30 dyas they should remove it completely off the report. So the best thing to do first is to file that dispute with credite reporting company. |
